Guest File: To assist you with installing ‘AGN’ scenery, George Davison has agreed to my hosting his little program to make life easier for you. Unzip the program file to a location of your choice, tell it where you have unzipped the AGN files that came with your main download, tell it where GenX Scenery is and it will locate the correct folder and place the files. If you don’t have a ‘Texture’ folder associated with the scenery it will create one automatically. Readme included in the zip.

Overview
1. My first public offering. This file will replace the default EGFE Haverfordwest Int. Airfield in FSX, (sorry not compatible with FS9 and earlier). It is designed to blend with Horizon GenX scenery and Mesh. It may work with Just Flight VFR but has not been tested. The AFD file alone should work with default scenery, but, again has not been tested. It’s free so enjoy! UPDATED 17:30 26/06/07

2. If like me you have tried the brilliant EGCW Welshpool for FS9 by Dave L Jones, (available on AVSIM) you will have been wondering when it would be updated. Well, I did not know and unfortunately the email address for David given with the file no longer works. So, rather than wait I have produced this version using objects from the Runway12 and VFR Addons object library. The AFD file has been produced using the Beta 18 of FSPlanner. There is parking for up to 9 AI aircraft and night lighting, (you can only have lighting for real if you are a regular at Welshpool). The runway reflects the extension carried out in 2006 together with the new 3rd hanger.

3. EGDA - RAF Brawdy approximately 8nm from Haverfordwest. Last in service in 1997 the airfield appears in FSX photoscenery but is not landable. It is now! With parking for over 20AI aircraft (not supplied with this package), it is somewhere to fly the occasional fast jet from. All four runways have full ILS. Added 28/07/2007
4. EGDC - RAF Chivenor was originally a civilian airfield opened in the 1930’s. Taken into military use during WW2 it is presently the Royal Marine Base Chivenor. The only RAF activity on site is ‘A’ Flight 22 Squadron with two Seaking Search and Rescue Helicopters. These famously saw action saving lives during the freak flooding at Boscastle. Fortunately the Marines have moved their vehicles from the runways so you can use them. Good luck for the Marine Corp Marathon guys, Oct 2007. File added 11/08/2007
5. EGDG - RAF St Mawgan First opened in 1933 under the name RAF Trebelzue. This airfield has been much used over the years and now also has a civilian side, Newquay Cornwall Airport . Due to close as a military airfield in August 2008, it will continue on in its civilian role.

This file has included AI aircraft by Gerry Winskill to whom I am most grateful for his work.

15. Ince Blundell -Microlight Centre Updated 8.10pm 22/11/07 replaced corrupt cvx file. Located South East of RAF Woodvale the centre was opened in 1992 and employs 3 full time Instructor. Of the three grass strips, 18/36 is the most interesting being of 380m length. Takeoff from 36 requires accurate climb out to ensure missing power cables located almost immediately across the river boundary. The poles and cables are in place and crash detection is active! The nearby village and several farms are also modelled. The main village street has night lighting.

17. EGNO Warton. Home to the Lightning, Nimrod, TSR2, Panavia Tornado and Typhoon. Many aircraft have been developed at this site since 1947. The airfield now has an assortment of aircraft parking options including 11 Military Combat, 5 Military Transport, 2 Large Commercial, 2 GA and 1 Helipad.
